Trump is back, and he’s weirder than ever: Last night, former President Donald Trump took the stage to wrap up the Republican National Convention (RNC) in his first speech since he was shot and killed. In the first 30 minutes, it’s easy to detect the change in tone. Trump, who was impulsive, capricious, prone to exaggeration and crudeness, seems to have become a completely different person. Someone was thoughtful. Someone is quiet. Not injured, exactly, but he’s rattled by his close encounters with death and increasingly moved by any mention of faith and God (of which there are a lot, as even Amber Rose/Hulk ·The RNC in the Hogan/Kid Rock era was still the RNC).
He shared the air uniform with Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who stood in for him when he died from an assassin’s bullet at a Trump campaign rally. Of course, the uniforms are misspelled, which seems to suit a Republican Party that focuses on symbolism and showmanship but not on detail; nonetheless, Trump still displayed a level of respect and humility that So far, this respect and humility has been almost imperceptible.
Trump was so affected by the assassination attempt. You can feel it. It’s weird to see him panicking, but it’s the most human he’s ever been.

The problem is that after 30 minutes he hasn’t stopped talking. He lasted 90 minutes, deviating from the script and enjoying some off-the-cuff moments, including touting right-to-try legislation (which he has always been very good at) and, bizarrely, claiming that the next RNC will be held in Venezuela(?) if the Democrats An attempt was made to steal this election and the country descended into political violence. At times, Trump was hilarious, saying he secretly suspected North Korean leader Kim Jong Un missed him, calling former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “Crazy Nancy” and making bizarre digressions about Hannibal Lecter The Silence of the Lambs Makes a somewhat puzzling point about mental hospitals and how foreign countries “empty” their mental hospitals into the United States, intelligence agent (This doesn’t seem to be happening nor is it the plot The Silence of the Lambs). Overall, there was less name-calling and more talk of unity, but by the end of the speech just after midnight, most viewers had some pent-up anger at Trump’s aimless, incoherent, time-wasting monologue.
Perhaps more importantly, a common thread between Tucker Carlson’s speech earlier in the night and Trump’s closing speech was a message that life is getting worse under the Biden administration: Inflation is costing groceries and gas are becoming more expensive; large swaths of Eastern Europe and the Middle East are now less stable; parts of our country are plagued by poverty and drug addiction; borders are becoming increasingly confusing and tricky, and the influx cannot or will not be stopped.
For many voters, it doesn’t matter whether the message is true or not. Trump identifies what they perceive to be their obsession and touts a cure.
Dropped out of school: “Several people close to the president [Joe] Biden said they believe he has begun to accept the idea that he may not win in November and may have to drop out of the race. New York Times, spoke with four different sources close to the president. Biden also reportedly asked Vice President Kamala Harris if she had a good chance of winning if she stepped down — a proposal he opposed just a week ago.
Interestingly, some of the most progressive members of the party — such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. — are skeptical of Biden’s exit plan. Meanwhile, followers of former President Barack Obama have been trash-talking Biden while Obama himself has remained silent. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) both privately expressed to Biden their hopes that he would withdraw, but as Biden did not listen to them appeal, thus leaking the information to Democrats.
According to the report, “We are increasingly hearing from Biden’s top aides, including those who initially urged him to keep fighting after the disastrous June 27 debate (21 days ago), that now is the time for Biden to announce that he will not When you run for election, not whether you announce that you will not run. Axiosshowing a reversal in attitudes among those close to the campaign.
Sources close to President Biden told me tonight they are “angry” that the pressure campaign is accelerating even as the president attempts to recover from the coronavirus outbreak in Rehoboth. Anger at some donors because they talked about the dollars drying up if he didn’t withdraw, to them…

“If Biden continues his efforts after the weekend, public pressure from Democrats will increase,” wrote New York Times X columnist Ezra Klein said: “In a way, this is ugly and no one wants it. But there is a lot of grim determination. And there is a growing sense that if Biden stays in office, this will be viewed For a political disaster you don’t want to happen.
New York scene: Why has the city been cracking down on kava bars? If you don’t know, kava “derived from the roots of the kava shrub has been used for ritual and medicinal purposes in the Pacific Islands for centuries, and those who use it find it calms and enhances mood without impairing judgment. “The Effects of Alcohol,” Report be contained. It’s unclear why the city would decide to mobilize resources to force such vendors to close, especially when they provide an alternative to bars for those suffering from drug addiction or simply want a different type of social environment.
