Talk show host Alex Jones, who has made a career spreading conspiracy theories, has agreed to liquidate his assets Pay damages to family suing Sandy Hook for defamation. Jones claimed that a 2012 shooting that killed more than two dozen people, mostly children, was fake and incited people to harass the victims’ families. He was ordered to pay approximately $1.5 billion in damages.

Jones’ family will have a claim on his future earnings for the rest of his life.
