Dementia Joe Biden is facing a pushback from some of his party’s high-profile donors, including the heiress to the Disney family fortune.
These donors have announced that they will stop funding Democrats until Biden withdraws from the presidential race.
Abigail Disney, the granddaughter of Walt Disney Company co-founder Roy O. Disney, announced her intentions on CNBC on Thursday. Despite years of financial support for the party, she plans to withhold future donations until Biden is out of office.
“I intend to stop any donations to the party unless they replace Biden as leader. This is realism, not disrespect. Biden is a good man and has served the country admirably, but the risks are too great .
She further warned that if Biden does not step down, the Democratic Party will fail and the consequences will be “terrible.”
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Joe Biden and the Democrats are in major trouble in Hollywood, with several prominent donors “freaking out” about his debate performance.
Variety released a major report on Friday saying the crisis at La La La is so serious that donors are threatening to cut off support for Democrats unless they find a way to dump Joe.
“On all the text chains I’m on, people are basically saying, ‘If he doesn’t quit, we’re not going to give any more money to the Democrats or the Democrats.’ It’s like super intense,” one donor told the outlet.
Another high roller told Variety, “There was a feeling that the money dried up about 10 minutes into last night’s debate.”
Even more ominously for Biden, Hannah Linkenhoker, a prominent political consultant with Hollywood donors, revealed that she was upset that Biden had not made a better case for “holding Trump accountable.” Because of this, it’s hard for her to imagine how she and others can continue to support Biden and the Democratic Party.
“We need a defender who can properly hold Trump accountable, articulate what’s going on, be clear on this issue,” she explained to Variety. “It’s really hard to see how we can continue. Support him. He needs to delve into whether he can in good conscience be our nominee.
Hollywood Democratic megadonor Ari Emanuel recently spoke at the Aspen Ideas Festival about the Democratic Party’s current situation with Biden.
Emanuelle’s voice sometimes trembled, but he didn’t hold it back. He’s clearly angry with Biden, his team and the media for not telling voters the truth about all this sooner.
He’s also very realistic about Democrats’ chances of knocking Joe Biden off the ticket, noting that much of the electoral machinery has already been set in motion. He rightly pointed out that there were serious legal issues involved.
Billionaire hedge fund manager and longtime Democratic donor Bill Ackman also blasted Democrats and the fake news mainstream media for lying and misleading the country about Joe Biden’s health and mental acuity.
Unfortunately, that’s bad news for Democratic donors because Biden isn’t going anywhere. Joe Biden had a simple message in response to reports of people trying to unseat him: Not on my watch.
NBC News senior correspondent Gabe Gutierrez reported that during a conference call with campaign staff on Wednesday, Biden vowed to continue running until the end and that no one would stop him.
“Let me say it as clearly and simply as possible: I’m running. No one is kicking me out. I’m not leaving,” Biden said during the call.
