A U.S. Marine died Sunday after a rollover crash in Twentynine Palms, Calif., according to the Marine Corps.
A Marine assigned to the tactical training exercise control group was pronounced dead Sunday, according to a social media post from Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms.
The post said he was involved in a high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle rollover accident at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center on Saturday.

The Marine was taken to Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms and then to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif., where he was pronounced dead.
No other Marines were injured in the incident.
The Marine’s identity will not be released until 24 hours after all next of kin are notified of the death.

“Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends and fellow Marines during this difficult time,” Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms said in a statement.
The incident remains under investigation.
