In a statement from X, Goode thanked supporters for their volunteer efforts and slammed the “DC swamp.”
“The entire DC Swamp aligned with us and ran over $10 million in attack ads, but with your help we made this a close game,” Goode wrote in part.
“No matter the outcome, you have shown the Washington swamp that you will not back down from standing up for what is right. Keep the faith and don’t stop fighting,” he said.
