Infowars founder Alex Jones held a news conference outside the federal courthouse in Houston on Friday before a federal judge ordered a liquidation of his personal assets.
Jones warned that attempts to silence him and shut down Infowars were part of an attempt to “destroy America’s First Amendment” and ban dissent around the world.
“What we’re witnessing here is the weaponization of the law and the legal system. I’m the test case right now for what President Trump, Steve Bannon and others are doing. This is an attempt at digital assassination,” Jones told reporter. “I never said any of the things they claimed at Sandy Hook. Two judges in Texas and Connecticut found me guilty, and then word performance test How guilty I am.
“The billion dollar verdict was a fraud. The judges already told the jurors I was guilty. Now, we’ve been bankrupt for almost two years, which proves everything they claimed about me – I mean [claiming I have] Hundreds of millions of dollars – that’s not true. You realize you can never hear a sound like this again. None of this is true. Now, the so-called plaintiffs – who are not actually the families but the government behind this, who are in court – don’t want the money there but want to shut me up. “We want Alex Jones to be silenced,” the plaintiffs’ attorneys sat on the steps of state courthouses in Texas and Connecticut. “That’s what this is all about.”
Jones revealed that the plaintiff’s attorney was also trying to close his X account. X was the first social media platform allowed after Infowars and Alex Jones came under unprecedented scrutiny in 2018, when he and his staff were systematically banned from nearly every online platform, including Facebook, Spotify, Twitter, YouTube , Pay Pal and Instagram.
“This is a violation of America’s First Amendment,” Jones said. “Now, the plaintiffs’ attorneys, Democratic attorneys from Connecticut, filed today to try to take Real Alex Jones on X away from me. Now they want my identity. Under X’s terms of service, you can’t Do this as this is my own personal property.
Judge Christopher Lopez’s ruling on Friday will result in the sale of many of Jones’ assets, including Infowars studio. His primary residence and some other properties in the Austin area were saved from bankruptcy liquidation.
He has begun selling his Texas ranch, gun collection and other assets worth about $2.8 million to help pay off debt.
“These people want me to shut up. It’s completely transparent and the world is seeing through this. I had a reporter ask me earlier, ‘Is this the end?’ “If not today, then in the coming weeks or months, the information wars may be over very quickly. But this is just the beginning of my fight against tyranny,” Jones said. “‘Surrender? I just started fighting. People know I’m right.
The corporate media has become a mercenary of the globalists, BlackRock, the World Economic Forum, and the public knows it. So there’s a total breakdown of power structures, not just here but around the world. Corporate media is dead and has become a shadow of its former self as it has become a whore for big corporations and seeks to wage war on independent mass media,” he continued. “Not just here but around the world, all of the most popular hosts are populist anti-globalists, whether it’s Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, Alex Jones or Russell Brand, the list goes on and on.
Jones warned the accusers, Sandy Hook’s family and their state attorneys “no money;” they wanted to silence him and close his business.
“Judge Lopez was fair. He followed the law. He was very frustrated by the fact that the plaintiffs didn’t want the money… and were just using the bankruptcy process to try to torture me and harass me. It was just the opposite. I am against this tyranny. Determination has never been stronger. I’m not going to stay silent. I have all these incredible groups wanting to work for me or work with me now that this information is coming to light. This blatant and naked attempt to silence me had exploded in their faces.
Jones said Infowars could air its last studio broadcast any day, as early as “this afternoon” before the government shuts it down.
“I want to commend the staff, I want to commend our audience,” Jones concluded. “I want to commend our supporters. Congress will hold hearings on what happened to me and others.
