Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz proved once again Wednesday night that few can match him in a battle of wits, especially left-wing talking heads at CNN.
Cruz was a guest on notorious Trump hater Kaitlan Collins’ CNN show of the same name. Source by Caitlan Collins, Talk about the upcoming election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Collins thought she could trick the talented Cruz into accepting fraudulent election results on the Democratic charade three years ago, but she got an education.
Collins opened the inquiry by noting that Cruz was the first to object to the questionable 2020 election results and demanding to know whether he would accept the results this time, no matter what.
Cruz rightly pointed out that this was a ridiculous question and demanded to know whether Collins had asked such a question to Democrats. She responded, “Of course,” but when Cruz asked for a name, she couldn’t provide an example.
Later, Collins was embarrassed when she asked Cruz if any president had refused to facilitate a transition of power. Cruz noted that this has never happened, noting that congressional Democrats have repeatedly refused to accept a clear Republican presidential victory, including in 2016.
The CNN anchor then claimed the results were certified and again tried to trick Cruz into promising to accept a rigged election. But Cruz saw through Collins and educated her.
“So you’re asking me if you’re going to commit, no matter what, to agree that the election is legitimate, no matter what happens,” Cruz said. “If we have a whole system of election laws where people challenge elections, elections are overturned, voter fraud is proven, and that keeps happening, and the media engages in this weird charade after Donald Trump, that’s going to It’s a ridiculous thing.
“Why does every state have laws to challenge voter fraud when it occurs,” he continued.
Colin did not answer and falsely claimed that the actions of Republicans, including Cruz, were different in 2020.
“Look, if the Democrats win, I’ll accept the outcome, but no matter what the outcome, I’m not going to ignore the fraud,” Cruz said.
Collins then weighed in again, claiming there was no voter fraud in Biden’s “victory,” which Cruz immediately blasted.
“Well, you know there’s actually zero voter fraud,” Cruz responded sarcastically. “Honestly, what’s your basis for doing this? Show me your evidence.

Collins then once again tried to incite Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and the deep state by hiding behind him by claiming “this is the most secure election in history.”
“You’re saying zero voter fraud happened,” Cruz said.
That made Collins somewhat uncharacteristically, saying there wasn’t enough reason to change the 2020 election results.
“Okay, but that’s a different statement,” Cruz rightly pointed out.
Collins later fought Cruz over whether enough fraud had occurred to sway the election, citing Cruz’s desire to appoint an election to study the results. Cruz then stumped Collins by offering an important history lesson about the 1876 election.
“I tried to look back at history and precedent, and the best precedent I could find (for the 2020 election) was Rutherford B Hayes and Samuel Tilden in 1876. ),” Cruz explained.
“What happened there?” Cruz continued. There are serious allegations of voter fraud. Congress didn’t raise its hands and say, you know what? CNN asks us to accept the results no matter what. So please ignore the scams.
For readers unfamiliar with the 1876 election, Tilden led Hayes 184 to 165 in the Electoral College, with 20 electoral votes from three states: South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana still to be decided. The U.S. Congress established a commission that ultimately awarded Republican Hayes the victory after allegations of electoral fraud, electoral violence and the disenfranchisement of (mostly Republican) black voters emerged.
Collins couldn’t answer, complaining that Cruz didn’t answer her questions. The Texas senator then blasted the media for its double standards regarding voter fraud.
“I think the country would be in a much better position if it could be established what evidence of voter fraud occurred. Instead, the media doesn’t want to hear about it and insists that voter fraud never happened,” Cruz said.
“It’s CNN that ruthlessly promotes this propaganda,” Cruz continued. “This type of voter fraud does not exist and anyone who says it exists is wearing a tinfoil hat. That’s propaganda, and by the way, you would never ask Hillary Clinton that question, you would never Ask Stacey Abrams this question, you would never ask Al Gore, each of them said the winning Republicans were illegitimate.
Collins ended the interview by complaining again that Cruz never answered her questions about the 2024 election.
