In recent weeks, CNN has turned their focus on Trump to the fake Trump trial in New York. They even had the moderator perform an embarrassing “dramatic reading” of the trial transcripts, which were heavily criticized on social media.
The bad news for the far left is that it has done nothing to help their already declining ratings. In fact, their primetime ratings are declining.
Most Americans are more concerned about the economy, inflation and the invasion of the southern border, but CNN doesn’t care. They have to deal with hating Trump every day.
Fox News:
CNN primetime ratings sluggish despite New York v. Trump trial
CNN’s long-struggling primetime show saw ratings declines in key categories last week even as the landmark New York v. Trump trial dominated the news.
Between May 13 and 19, CNN’s primetime shows “Anderson Cooper 360,” “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” and “CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip” attracted only 83,000 overnight spectators. The dismal ratings total tied the network’s 2023 Thanksgiving week record for the fewest viewers in a key category going back to 1991.
By comparison, Fox News shows “Primetime with Jesse Waters,” “Hannity” and “Gutfield!” averaged 186,000 demo viewers, 100,000 more than CNN’s 25- to 54-year-old audience Multiple people.
CNN’s primetime programming had fewer viewers in the demo than 23 different basic cable options, including FXX, MTV, Hallmark Channel, Discovery, A&E, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, TLC, HGTV, Food Network. ESPN2 and Bravo, as well as Fox News and MSNBC.
CNN’s primetime programming wasn’t particularly successful among total viewers either, averaging just 484,000 viewers, compared with Fox News’ average of 2 million total viewers.
How could CNN lose viewers over such high-profile news coverage?
CNN (CNN) The dramatic transcript reading had a local parish Good Friday vibe – random readers buzzing categorically through a text they didn’t fully understand. “Didn’t I see you with the Galileans?” pic.twitter.com/zEzXONZL6R

It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic and sad.
