Who is Chase Oliver? What does he really represent?
oliver is the Libertarian Party’s 2024 presidential candidate, chosen after six rounds of voting at a controversial party convention in Washington, D.C., this weekend, with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Vivek Rakyat Vivek Ramaswamy and former President Donald Trump both spoke, with the latter hinting at the Libertarian Party’s 2024 presidential nomination to a chorus of boos. Oliver is not the preferred candidate Mises Core Grouphe still controls the Liberal Party and several of its higher profile members, e.g. Dave Smithsaid they would not vote for him, with some accusing him of being too woke, too pro-immigration and too soft on coronavirus restrictions. Today we’ll ask him to address all of these issues.
Oliver, a 38-year-old sales executive, rose to prominence within the party as the 2022 Libertarian Senate candidate in a hotly contested race in Georgia, winning 2% of the vote and forcing a runoff that ultimately led to a Democratic Party candidates win, and the balance in the Senate tilts in their favor.
