Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White appear to be shutting down rumors of a feud on the set of their hit game show.
Rumors circulated last month that White was considering quitting “Wheel of Fortune” due to his embarrassment with Seacrest, although he signed a deal in the fall to star in the show’s 2025-2026 season.
“Friends on and off camera. Enjoying one of our favorites, chicken and dumplings!” White shared a photo on Instagram yesterday of her and Seacrest dining out together.

An inside source previously told The Daily Mail that White was having difficulty filming Wheel of Fortune, which she has co-hosted with Pat Sajak since 1982. show until Pat Sajak retired this year.

“Vana will be leaving the show at the end of her contract, but there’s something deep inside her that wants to leave sooner,” the source revealed. “It would be too difficult to do that without Pat.” The source added, White “wasn’t on the same page with Ryan as she was with Pat, and no one really expected her to. There was no way she was going to do it.”

“Vana feels like she’s put in her time. She’s dedicated her life to this show and has been incredibly successful while making tons of money,” they continued. “She knew the show needed to go in a different direction and appeal to a younger crowd,” they said, noting that she wanted the show to stay on the air.
“It takes a young female presenter who is to Ryan what she is to Pat.”

Last summer, shortly after Sajak revealed his intention to retire, the show announced that “American Idol” host Seacrest would replace the television legend.
“It’s official! Starting in 2024, @RyanSeacrest will take the stage as the new host of Wheel of Fortune. We couldn’t be more excited – welcome Ryan!” the show’s X account posted.

Sajak’s final episode of the game show aired in June, but The Hollywood Reporter reports that Sajak will host the final season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which will premiere in the fall. According to reports, recording of the series has not yet begun.
Last month, Seacrest revealed that he had begun filming Wheel of Fortune.
