Sinner wrote on social media that doctors advised him to miss the Olympics as a result.
“It is very disappointing to miss the Olympics, as it was one of my main goals for this season,” Sinner wrote in Italian, according to the Associated Press. “I can’t wait to have the honor of representing my country in this extremely important event.” activity.”
