Travel costs are soaring, but the Wyndham hotel chain is launching a promotion that could convince more people to hit the road.
The parent company of brands like Travelodge, Ramada, Wingate and La Quinta is launching a pass that unlocks 30 days of hotel stays over the next three months for just $499. What’s the gain? Only 25 people will receive one.
The Wyndham Rewards Ultimate Hotel Pass will give holders access to nearly 9,200 hotels and resorts, including Caesars Rewards and Club Wyndham destinations. Holders can also contact a concierge who will assist you with bookings and any modifications or cancellations. Limited blackout dates.
To get a pass, you can pre-register on the company’s website. You need to be at least 18 years old and a member of (or join) Wyndham Rewards. All you have to do is pre-register before 11:59pm on July 4th.
On July 8, the company will notify potential winners and they will have 48 hours to claim their passes. Travel must be completed by October 1, 2024.
The pass allows you to stay anywhere from Mexican beaches to the Mediterranean to national parks, but keep in mind that while this will significantly lower your hotel costs, you’ll still have to cover the cost of traveling to and from these locations – depending on how you plan your trip distance, which can increase rapidly.
Wyndham last year rejected a hostile takeover bid from rival Choice Hotels Group. The company’s shares are down about 9.5% year to date, but have rebounded over the past month.
